The patient platform “Living with Cancer” contains relevant content for those affected in order to enable them to play a self-determined and strong role in life with the disease. Published twice a year, the magazine covers various types of cancer as well as non-medical topics related to living with cancer. Sending to over 1,300 target group-specific addresses throughout German-speaking Switzerland enables a wide reach and brings the content directly to the relevant reader. The website is the digital hub of the platform; all articles from the magazine are published here, among other things.
Together with Sandra from “Living with Cancer” and Dominik from “Interactis” we worked out and recorded the core attributes and goals of the website and the magazine in our brand workshop. These insights guided us through the design process, creating a soft and approachable brand presence that conveys humanity and understanding offline and online. Although the imagery changes from issue to issue of the magazine, we consciously only present positive motifs that underline the individual articles.
